ART NIGHT ATHENS
On Saturday, September 23, 2017, atenistas invite the Athenians to wander in the city from 8 o'clock to 6 o'clock in the morning and discover different expressions in a variety of art and culture organizations.
"White Nights of Culture: This is an organization that has been a successful institution for decades in major cities throughout the world. A great artistic activity involving actively small and large, public and private cultural operators and artists. It is the response of cultural organizations to open their doors in the evening, beyond the usual schedule and to welcome the Athenians with visual arts, music, dance, theater, photography, videos, collections of records and documents, street art, oral narration, indoors and outdoors.
An organization that called on cultural organizations to overcome technical and economic barriers, to collaborate in a new way and with new shapes, to organize even special productions and to dedicate, in this time of financial difficulty, their resources to free offer to public in Athens. In order to achieve this goal, musicians, dancers, actors, narrators, artists, photographers and filmmakers were enthusiastically involved with their presence in unusual environments and new perspectives.
Art Night Athens is an event that aims to create optimism, fuel the hope and bring us all closer to the art and its unique effect on the human mind. To show how much we can achieve when working together and with common goals. Glad to see Athens as a city attractive, lively and interesting, a modern and important metropolis.
How does it work?
Simple! On Saturday, September 23, 2017, from 20:00 to 06:00 next day, Athenians will be able to tour Art Night Athens, depending on the hours of visit and the events that will be hosted. - A map with all the details of the program will already be posted on the internet, but also, browsers will be able to obtain a guide-map form from wherever they start browsing to freely map the course of the visit. - On your cell phone! Practical details of the events, hosts and agents will also be provided by the Clio Muse mobile application. - And the night does not stop! From 02:00 to 04:00 in the morning, the event will culminate with after event partying in bars in Athens that will offer a cocktail called "Art Night Athens" or a drink at a very privileged price.

The emotions exhibition, which is presented at the Acropolis Museum on the initiative of the Onassis Foundation, will initiate a group of visitors to the feelings of the ancient world through two successive stations.
