On Sunday 01/10 we run and support the fight against the breast cancer.
What is Race for the Cure®?
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series is the world’s largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer ever created. First organized in 1983, after the promise of Nancy Brinker to her dying sister that she would do everything she could to end breast cancer forever, the Komen Race for the Cure Series has grown from one Race with 800 people in Dallas to a global series of more than 150 Races with over 1 million people participating on four continents.
What is Greece Race for the Cure®?
The Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois” in collaboration with the Organization of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® organizes the 9th Greece Race for the Cure® on Sunday, October 1st at Zappeion.The routes will be two, 5 km and 2 km respectively.
Event’s start time: 9:00 a.m.
Start time for 5km Race: 10:00 a.m.
Start time for 2km Walk: 11: 20 a.m.
