Tomorrow 30/10 @ Megaron: Ludwig van Beethoven's "Leonor" for first time in Athens :)

Ludwig van Beethoven: "Leonor" - Freiburger Barockorchester - René Jacobs | 30/10 - 20.30 - Megaron

Ludwig van Beethoven: "Leonor", a lyrical work of impressive rhythm, in a first pan-Hellenic presentation! A score with the enchantment of a hidden treasure, an emotionally charged first version of "Fidelio" (1805), overflowing with immediacy, intensity and authenticity. An opera with a glamor of diachronicity that is highlighted by the crystal-clear voice and intense theatricality, one of the greatest soprano of our time and beloved friend of the Greek public, Marlis Petersen.

Opera in three acts (original version of the Fidelio, 1805) Libretto: Joseph Sonnleithner (after Jean-Nicolas Bouilly's Leonore)

Concertante With Greek surtitles
