As part of its European tour, Simon Bolivar Trumpet Ensemble arrives at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center for a Christmas concert on Sunday 17/12. The eight gifted trumpeters and the young musicians of El Sistema Greece present exciting music pieces by Mozart, Verdi, Morricone, and a host of other composers.
Founded by the charismatic Dr. José Antonio Abreu in 1975, El Sistema has developed an educational approach which has been tested in countries and regions facing major challenges, providing opportunities for social inclusion, creativity and joy.
