SNFCC presents SNFCC Sessions, a series of music meetings with international and Greek guests, who share their experiences in a public discussion and then invite us to a DJ set.
This February, our guest at SNFCC Sessions is music producer Adrian Sherwood, founder of the independent record label On-U Sound.
For more than three decades now, Sherwood has been behind the desk for groundbreaking music productions in the British dub and reggae scene; his name has been associated with the likes of Lee Scratch Perry, Primal Scream, Depeche Mode, Asian Dub Foundation, Little Axe and Sinéad O'Connor; he also left his mark on punk, post-punk, bass and experimental music.
His collaborations and productions include The Slits, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, The Fall, Blur, Einstürzende Neubauten.
In 2016 and 2017, Sherwood appeared in festivals including Outlook, Dimensions, Dekmantel, Dour, Terraforma, Festival No.6, Worldwide, and performed with Massive Attack; in 2018, he is touring Australia and New Zealand.
As with every SNFCC Sessions edition, a talk with the audience is taking place before the DJ set – this one is moderated by the Greek musician and DJ Cayetano.
Free admission, places will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
